Curio Culinaria operates as a small-batch, scratch-made kitchen focused on thoughtfully prepared food with an emphasis on allergy-conscious and medically informed cooking. Our menus are developed and executed by a professionally trained chef with experience in allergy-aware, culturally inspired, and specialty dietary cooking.

 

While we are not a dedicated allergen-free facility, we take extensive precautions to minimize cross-contact. These include ingredient sourcing awareness, careful scheduling, thorough cleaning protocols, and the use of designated tools when possible. However, because we work within a shared environment, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens.

Which allergies and dietary needs can you accommodate?

We regularly accommodate requests related to:

All items are prepared from scratch unless otherwise noted. Advance notice is required for allergy-conscious or medically specific requests, and additional planning or ingredient costs may apply.

Is Curio Culinaria a certified allergen-free or medical facility?

No. Curio Culinaria is not a certified allergen-free facility and does not operate as a medical or clinical kitchen. While the chef has professional experience and training related to food allergies and special diets, customers with severe or life-threatening allergies should carefully consider their individual risk tolerance before ordering.

How do I place an allergy-conscious or special order?

Special orders require a minimum of 2–4 weeks’ notice, depending on complexity.

  • Your full name

  • Known allergies or medical considerations

  • Contact information

  • Requested delivery or pickup date

  • Delivery address (if applicable)

  • Requested item(s)

  • Any themes, inspirations, or reference photos

 

 

Orders involving allergy planning or specialty sourcing may incur additional costs, which are non-refundable once incurred.​

Why are allergy orders non-refundable?

Due to the perishable nature of food and the additional preparation, sourcing, and planning required for allergy-conscious items, food orders are final sale. This policy allows us to maintain food safety standards and manage ingredient integrity responsibly.

Who is responsible for managing allergy risk?

While we take reasonable precautions to reduce cross-contact, customers are ultimately responsible for assessing their own risk tolerance when ordering. Curio Culinaria cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

Do you accommodate severe or life-threatening allergies?

Customers with severe or anaphylactic allergies should carefully consider their individual needs before ordering. While precautions are taken, Curio Culinaria may not be suitable for all allergy sensitivities.

What happens if I forget to disclose an allergy or dietary restriction?

All allergies and dietary needs must be disclosed at the time of ordering. Curio Culinaria is not responsible for issues arising from undisclosed or late-disclosed allergies.

Can you guarantee no cross-contact?

No. Due to shared preparation environments and ingredients, we cannot guarantee zero cross-contact.

Why do allergy-conscious or special diet orders sometimes cost more?

Special dietary requests may require additional sourcing, preparation time, or planning, which can increase costs.

 

Are your ingredients certified allergen-free or gluten-free?

Ingredient certifications vary by supplier. Items are not represented as certified allergen-free or gluten-free unless explicitly stated.

Can I provide my own ingredients?

No. For food safety and liability reasons, we cannot prepare food using customer-provided ingredients.

Are your products suitable for children with allergies?

Many customers order for children with dietary restrictions; however, parents and guardians are responsible for determining suitability based on their child’s specific needs.

What kinds of 3D-printed products do you offer?

We offer functional, organizational, decorative, and sensory 3D-printed products, including fidgets, household tools, culinary accessories, and custom designs created by Curio Creates.

Are 3D-printed items refundable?

No. All 3D-printed items are made to order and are final sale unless they arrive damaged or defective. Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery with photo documentation.

 

Can I request a custom 3D-printed design?

Yes. Custom requests are accepted. Customers must review and approve all design details prior to production. Once approved, no changes, cancellations, or refunds are permitted.

 

Are your sensory or fidget items medical devices?

No. Sensory and fidget items are designed for general use only and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychological condition.

Why does my 3D-printed item look slightly different from photos?

Minor variations in color, texture, or finish are normal characteristics of 3D printing and are not considered defects.

 

How should I care for my 3D-printed item?

3D-printed items should be kept away from excessive heat, moisture, or force. Damage resulting from improper use or modification is the responsibility of the customer.

K-Town Hanbok Rental — Rentals & Purchases FAQs

How do hanbok rentals work?

Hanbok rentals are reserved for specific dates and must be returned by the agreed-upon return date. Late returns will result in additional rental fees.​

Can I alter or tailor a rented hanbok?

No. Rental items may not be altered, tailored, or modified in any way.

​​

What happens if my hanbok is damaged or stained?

Customers are responsible for any loss, damage, stains, or alterations beyond normal wear while the item is in their possession. Additional fees may apply after inspection.

Are hanbok purchases refundable?

No. Purchased hanbok items are final sale unless they arrive damaged or incorrect. Issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photo documentation.

How are hanbok items shipped?

Hanbok rentals and purchases are shipped via USPS or UPS. Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Carrier delays are outside our control.

When do orders ship?

Orders ship Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Shipping timelines begin at order fulfillment, not order placement.

Can my order arrive in multiple packages?

Yes. Orders may ship in multiple packages depending on product type, size, or availability.

Are you responsible for shipping delays?

No. Once an order is in the carrier’s possession, Curio Culinaria is not responsible for carrier delays, weather disruptions, or packages marked as delivered.
